We had a fabulous time at the 2016 North Shore Local Business Awards gala presentation dinner last night. It was a great honour to be recognised as a finalist among the many successful businesses involved.
For the “Pet Care” and “Business Person of the Year” categories for which we were finalists, the team at Puppuccino Pet Spa is beyond excited to be named a finalist for the second consecutive year.
Every day we strive to commit ourselves to giving our all to the work we do with our four legged clients and their owners, so being recognised for our dedicated and our service is a wonderful reminder that we are living up to the values we set out to achieve in our work.
This year’s Pet’s Day Out proved to be the biggest one yet on the Mosman Festival’s social calendar and Puppuccino Pet Spa was proud to again be an event sponsor.
Organised by the Mosman Council and held at Mosman Square and Village Green, competitions and interactive animal shows headlined this year’s event with adoption booths, obedience master classes, animal acupuncture, dog yoga DOGA, wildlife displays, face painting and photo booths.
We are proud sponsors once again of the Owner and Pet race up Awaba Street for Mosman’s annual 2016 Balmoral Burn event, donating exciting pet prizes for our category’s three winners.
Organised by the Humpty Dumpty Foundation, the Burn is synonymous with a day of beachside colour, fun outfits, pets galore and of course, good old fashioned competitive spirit – all in the name of raising funds for sick children around Australia.
Only one year after our launch, Puppuccino Pet Spa has been awarded one of 11 National Finalists in the Pet Services category in the prestigious 2016 Australian Small Business Champion Awards.
With a reputation as the ‘Oscars’ of Australia’s small business sector, the Australian Small Business Champion Awards is the only national program of its kind to recognise achievements and honour great performances in small business.
Judges’ evaluations are based on business strategies, outstanding customer service, vision, support of the local community, and growth and development.
On behalf our our Puppuccino Packmates, we would like to thank the Business Champions Program organisers and judges for recognising our hard work, passion and dedication.

Summer and the holidays are a period of high animal surrenders so last month, we organised a Treat and Toy Hamper for the lost and surrendered dogs at the Hawkesbury Companion Animal Shelter in Mulgrave, over Christmas.
Thank you so much to our generous customers who kindly took the time to donate a TONNE of doggie treats, food, toys and blankets to our hamper. We hope they will provide some comfort to these dogs and cats.
Another exciting month for us with the announcement that we have been nominated as a national FINALIST in the BizCover Small Business Grant for December.
BizCover is an online insurance service helping small businesses by granting a wish every month in the form of a specific product or service valued at up to $2,000.
Our ‘wish’ is for a new air conditioning system for our salon and daycare centre. The winner will be the small business finalist with the most votes over a two week period.
A big paws up to everyone who has voted for us!!
With Christmas on the horizon, this is a time where our furry friends are spoilt with extra family time, cuddles and treats. However, spare a thought for all those unwanted and unloved pets who end up in shelters during this time of year.
Puppuccino Pet Spa is organising a Treat and Toy Drive to help bring some joy to the dogs at the Hawkesbury Companion Animal Shelter this Christmas.
The next time you’re in our store, please consider donating a bag or tin of food, a pack of treats, or a toy into our Christmas Hamper to help us help the lost and surrendered pets that end up in the shelter over the holiday season.
We are thrilled to announce Puppuccino Pet Spa is a FINALIST in the Pet Care category of the 2015 North Shore Local Business Awards, while our Owner & Founder Carolyn has been chosen as a FINALIST for the Outstanding Business Person of the Year category.
Thank you to all our loyal and special customers for nominating and voting for us with resounding endorsements! It makes what we do all the more worthwhile and rewarding.
